This nutrient dense Holliday treat is sure make the whole family happy. This recipe is great for anyone with food allergies, especially gluten and dairy sensitivities.
¾ cup coconut sugar ¼ cup maple syrup ⅓ cup coconut oil, melted 2 free range eggs, room temperature 1 tablespoon almond flour 1 tablespoon dairy free vanilla coconut creamer
2 cups raw pecans, chopped
1. Preheat the oven to 325°F.
2. In large bowl, beat the eggs until slightly foamy. Stir in the maple syrup, coconut sugar, and coconut oil. Whisk together until fully combined. Stir in the almond flour, almond milk, and vanilla. Add the pecans, 1/2 a cup of dairy free dark chocolate chips, 1/2 cup of unsweetened coconut flakes and stir until fully coated.
3. Pour the mixture into the pie dough. Bake in the preheated oven at 325°F and bake for 25 minutes, or until fully cooked.
