Eggnog is a delicious drink that many look forward to every year during the holiday season. However, if you’re trying to watch your intake of calories, namely sugar and fat, then this traditional sweet beverage won’t be on your list. But this doesn’t mean that you can’t make a healthy alternative to this legendary holiday drink.
Here is a quick and easy recipe that's a healthy alternative to Eggnog:
1 3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk, coconut milk, or cashew milk.
2 frozen bananas
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg 1/2 teaspoon clove 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 2 teaspoon grade B maple syrup (optional)
Mix all of these ingredients in a blender and enjoy!
