Those who are endomorphs tend to thrive on a low carb diet, due to their slower metabolism and their body's natural preference to burn fat over carbohydrates.


3. The ketogenic diet may be for you if you are wanting to reset your hormones. For women, increasing fat intake can increase the level of estradiol, progesterone and testosterone that is produced. For women who are going through menopause, there can be up to a 12% increase in these hormones by simply adding 5% more fat than normally consumed.
